ABOUT ME

Mrs. Kelsey Rosenberg
Formerly Miss Thompson
I have always had a passion for teaching and educating our youth.
I am a New Jersey certified special education teacher and learning disabilities teacher consultant. In 2006, I received my baccalaureate in elementary education and special education at Rider University in New Jersey. In 2017, I completed my master's degree in special education at Stockton University in New Jersey. In Spring of 2022 I received the National Certification of Educational Diagnosticians (NCED). Over a span of 18 years, I have had the experience teaching all grade levels and learning disabilities. I have taught student's of every grade from pre-K through 12th grade. I have had the opportunity to work with students with disabilities such as autism, specific learning disabilities, communication impairments, multiple disabilities I have facilitated regular education, and inclusion and resource classrooms. In addition, I have worked as a Child Study Team member in New Jersey public and private schools.
These educational opportunities have helped to shape my philosophy on education. I believe that by combining a variety of interactive learning activities geared to students' learning styles, interests and individual ability levels, that children will thrive and meet their academic goals.
I believe providing students with a positive and encouraging learning environment will enable them to develop the confidence they need to achieve success.
